Sundays

On Sundays, jobs may include any of the following. A willingness to be flexible is necessary, since role adjustments may occur as needs change.

• Unload donations and deliveries

• Weigh and sort donations and delivered items

• Cut and repackage vegetables and fruit

• Check donated items for expiration dates

• Organize food items in our storage areas

• Arrange foods for distribution- requires varying amounts of lifting

• Take orders from clients at their cars (rain or shine)

• Gather items for client orders by walking along a line of tables and adding items to boxes/bags.

• Restock the food line to assist in order filling

• Carry boxes/ bags to clients' cars

• Return remaining food items, tables, etc. into the building at the end of the distribution session.
